Liz Sharpe

Liz Sharpe is a multi-genre songwriter/producer/singer/pianist, born in Washington, PA and raised in Treasure Island, Florida. Her mother’s family is from Pikeville Kentucky (including her mother’s inspiring cousin, Patty Loveless). Liz grew up in Florida studying classical piano and majored in composition for film/piano/voice. She studied abroad in Sydney, Australia where she frequented the Sydney Opera House and surfed. She has been singing and writing in various bands since high school and learned to create rap tracks and hip hop with Arrested Development/Dionne Farris, Count Bass D, Mike Mohaffey, Tok and Big Fella, Neo-Soul with Van Hunt, Christian music with Chris Eaton and Abby Scott, Latin music with Sony Moran , and R&B with the infamous Michael Bolton (she wrote Michael Bolton’s title cut and singles “Til The End of Forever” and “Next Lifetime“)-also released by Jim Brickman.  

Liz has been mentored by incredible country songwriters such as, Kim Williams, Ron Harbin, Victoria Shaw, Keith and Adrienne Follese, Matraca Berg, Lori McKenna, Phil Barton, Alissa Moreno, Kylie Sackley, Phillip Lammonds, Shane Stevens, Tiffany Goss, Bobby Tomberlin, Will Nance, Billy Montanna, David Tolliver, Kyle Jacobs, Jeff Cohen, Bonnie Baker, Liz Rose, Will Rambeaux and Sherrie Austin, Jim Ed Norman, Zac Brown, Bobby Huff, Femke Weidema, Jen Denmark, Burton Collins, Alex Kline and many more incredible writers...

Liz has performed as a keys player and vocalist with major touring acts, produced pop and country albums and has had multiple record deals as a pop artist herself. Her Country/Pop/Bluegrass band, “Little Feather” was discovered by Zac Brown and signed by his label Southern Ground and later signed by Curb Records. Liz decided to give up the road life because of her passion for writing and producing (especially Sync, Pop, Pop-Rap, Hip Hop, K-Pop, EDM and Country).  Liz especially loves working on trailers for movies and promo because of her love for scoring strings and classical piano background. She has landed many television placements with her fun pop-rap project (Elle Sharpe). Elle’s singles can be heard on NBC/The Voice, CW “All American Series, Netflix, The Digital Reasoning theme song and The Academy of Optometry theme song and upcoming Selling Sunset and Amber Brown placements this coming 2022 Spring. Liz has toplined many DJ tracks this year with many single releases and world-wide collaborations. 

Liz enjoys producing tracks of her own and she especially enjoys collaborating with other producers and tracking her own vocals in her studio. Put her in the room with an artist or writer of any genre and she will create something melodic and lyrically fabulous, and she will leave them feeling uplifted, musical and shining! Her energy and love for writing are direct downloads from the universe. She is grateful for every moment on this earth doing what she loves and all credit goes to the man above.
